Welcome to take note of this newly written handbook on sustainable development in the visiting industry. The Svedish language version of CE Handbook is aimed at companies in the hospitality industry (housing, restaurants and SPA and wellness) and describes and shows how the concept of circular economy can be used in business models, thus helping to develop offers to guests in a sustainable and circular way. The book contains concrete tips and ideas on simple as well as more advanced solutions for a more sustainable visitor industry. The book was developed by the Energy Office South East 2018.

Single-use plastic items such as plates, cutlery, straws, balloon sticks or cotton buds, will be banned will be banned from the EU market from 2021.
