The Green Globe certification is an assessment tool of travel and tourism businesses’ sustainability as well as their supply chain partners. Companies monitor progress allowing for certification of their businesses’ sustainable operation and management.
The Green Globe Standard has 44 core criteria and over 380 indicators. The applicable indicators are matched to the type of certification, geographical area and local factors. Green Globe harmonizes with eco labels around the world. It contributes to maintaining core criteria and at the same time addresses adopts locally developed standards to face regional issues.
